LOGS
The
Logs
screen has six sub-page options: Web Session Log, Operation Log, Operating
System Log, Security Log, Boot Log, and Email Log.

Web Session Log
Displays user access to the EAS device
Operation Log
Shows EAS device operation log including EAS event information
Operating
System Log
Presents the last 500 lines of current and previous backup log
Security Log
Presents the last 500 lines of security log
Boot Log
Presents the last 500 lines of boot log
EMail Log
Presents the last 500 lines of Email log
Web Session Log
Presents time stamped information about user access to the unit. It shows exactly who
and when users logged on or attempted to log on the unit. The Web Session Log is an
important part of the security auditing for the unit and should be reviewed often if
security is an issue with your installation. Two settings are available.

Check the
View Today’s Log
checkbox to show the Web session log for the current
day.

Uncheck the box to view archived web session log files. Then select a log for a
specific date. You can then show the log for the previous or the next day.
