Remove Selection
FIPS code can be removed from the
FIPS codes
list by selecting the item and
clicking the
Remove Selected
button.
EAS Code Groups
EAS Code Groups
are new in V3.0. There are numerous places to enter EAS codes
within the web interface. EAS Code Groups were created to eliminate redundant opera
-
tions and reduce errors. The EAS Code Groups sub-tab is divided into two sections. The
Manage EAS Code Group Lists
section provides controls to add, edit, duplicate and
delete these groups. The
Configure Available EAS Types for Encoder Alert Origination
section is where users establish a list of available encoder EAS codes.

Manage EAS Code Group Lists
The top section of this screen shows a list of configured EAS Code Groups and enables
the user to add, edit, duplicate and delete these groups. A brand new EAS device
will not have any configured EAS Code Groups configured and they will need to be
added from this screen. If the EAS device has been upgraded from a previous version
of software to V3.0, EAS Code Groups will have been automatically created based
on existing settings within the EAS device. A brief description of where (in the web
interface) that specific groups of EAS codes were generated will be used as the name of
that EAS Code Group. An example might be a group of EAS codes used for GPI Output 1
