9. In the Virtual Instrument Name box, enter a name that you want to use to refer to the instrument.
10. Click
Finish
.
11. Click
Cancel
to close the Wizard.
12. Save the configuration. From the Keithley Configuration Panel, select
File > Save
.
Verify the instrument through the Keithley Communicator:
1. Click
Start > All Programs > Keithley Instruments > Keithley Communicator
.
2. Select
File > Open Instrument
to open the instrument you just named.

3. Click
OK
.
4. Send a command to the instrument and see if it responds.
