There is a 2 µs delay after the block makes the last measurement in the count.
The measure block must be used with a measure function. The trigger model will not run if a digitize
function is selected.
When you select the measure block, the following options are available.
Setting
Description
Reading Buffer
Optional. The name of the buffer where the measurement is stored.
Count
Optional. Specifies the number of readings to make before moving
to the next block in the trigger model.
Source Output block
The source output block determines if the output source is turned on or off when the trigger model
reaches this block.
This block does not determine the settings of the output source (such as the output voltage level and
source delay). The source settings are determined by either the present settings of the instrument or
by a source configuration list.
When you list trigger blocks, this block is listed as
SOURCE_OUTPUT
.
When you select the Source Output block, the following options are available.
Setting
Description
Output State
Select
On
to turn the output on or
Off
to turn the output off.
Pulse Output block
The pulse output block determines if the source pulse output is turned on or off when the trigger
model reaches this block.
The source output must be on before the pulse output is turned on. If the source output is not on
when the trigger model reaches the pulse output block in the trigger model, a pulse is not generated.
To avoid this, either enable the source output before initiating the trigger model, or make sure there
is a source output block in the trigger model before the pulse output block.
This block does not determine the settings of the source pulse output (such as the current or voltage
level and delay). The pulse output is determined by the pulse settings from the front-panel Pulse
menu or from SCPI or Test Script Processor (TSP
®
) pulse commands.
When you list trigger blocks, this block is listed as
SOURCE_PULSE_OUTPUT
.
When you select the Pulse Output block, the following option is available.
Setting
Description
Output State
Select
On
to turn the source pulse output on or
Off
to turn it off.
