7. Enter the values specific to your organization for the IP address, subnet
mask, and gateway.
8. Enter your host name. To eliminate confusion, consider making this field the
same value as the system name under General.
9. Change the DHCP Setting field to Disabled. The default value is Enabled.
10.Press F6 to apply the changes.
11.Press Esc. After the Warning window opens, press Enter to restart the
Remote Supervisor Adapter.
12.Exit the utility and return to the EFI Boot Manager menu.
13.You should now be able to connect to the adapter using the static IP address
you supplied.
14.From another machine, that is also connected to the same network, connect
to the adapter via the browser. In our example, the URL would be the IP
address:
http://192.168.1.1
15.When prompted, enter a valid user ID and password. By default, only one
user ID is configured:
– User ID: USERID (all caps)
– Password: PASSW0RD (all caps and zero, not the letter O)
