8. If you have the OS/2 operating system or the Novell
NetWare operating system:
a. Perform the shutdown procedure for the
operating system. Refer to the operating system
documentation for instructions.

Del to restart the server. The
device drivers are loaded automatically. The
device drivers will run immediately. You have
completed the device-driver installation
procedure.
Notes
1. To obtain the most current device drivers for the
server, go to http://www.ibm.com/support/ on the
World Wide Web and download the files to the
server.
2. You can install IBM Update Connector, included
on the ServerGuide Netfinity Applications CD, to
enable automatic device driver and BIOS updates
on the systems. To install Update Connector,
follow the instructions provided in the “Installing
Application Programs” section of the
“ServerGuide and Netfinity Manager Information”
section of this
Server Library. The update
support provided by Update Connector varies
depending on the operating system running on
the server. For more information, see the
“Installing Application Programs” section of the
“ServerGuide and Netfinity Manager Information”
section of this
Server Library.
