drivers. You will not need to perform the specified
additional steps to finish installing the device drivers.
Note
If you are installing NetWare or UNIXWare, you must
use device driver diskettes created using the
ServerGuide Diskette Factory CD.
If you choose to use Diskette Factory to create diskettes
and manually install the device drivers, use the following
instructions to complete the device driver installation.
1. Insert the diskette labelled Netfinity Advanced System
Management Device Driver Diskette into the primary
diskette drive.

For additional information, review the README
file on the diskette.
2. Open an operating-system specific window or full
screen.
3. Type the following command; then, press Enter:

For OS/2 operating system:
a:\os2\setup
Ÿ
For Microsoft Windows NT operating system:
a:\nt\setup
Ÿ
For Novell NetWare operating system:
load
a:\netware\setup
4. You will receive a prompt indicating the location (path
and directory) where the device drivers (files) will be
placed, and asking you if you want the files to be
placed in a different location.
Ÿ
If you want the files to be placed in the indicated
directory, press Enter.
Ÿ
If you want the files to be placed in a different
directory, type the desired directory name and
then press Enter. Be sure to use a valid
directory name, and include the complete path,
when the prompt appears.
5. The required device drivers (files) for the operating
system will be copied onto the hard disk, in the
directory that you selected in step 4.

For the OS/2 operating system, the
CONFIG.SYS file will be updated.
Ÿ
For Microsoft Windows NT operating system, the
registry is updated and all device drivers are
loaded automatically. The device drivers will run
immediately.
Ÿ
For Novell NetWare operating system, the
AUTOEXEC.NCF file will be updated.
6. Remove the diskette from the diskette drive.
7. If you have the Microsoft Windows NT operating
system you have completed the device-driver
installation procedure.
