Modifying Configuration Settings
Using the SET command, you can change the configuration settings for any of the following parameters:
Ÿ Alert
Ÿ ATM_ESI
Ÿ Clock
Ÿ Community
Ÿ Device
Ÿ LAN_emul
Ÿ Logical_link
Ÿ Module
Ÿ
Static_route
Ÿ
Port
Ÿ
PVC
Ÿ
Terminal
Ÿ TFTP
Ÿ Trace.
Important: Remember that (except for SET CLOCK, ATM_ESI, PVC, TRACE, and
LAN_EMUL CONFIGURATION_SERVER) the changes you make with the SET command are not saved
permanently in nonvolatile memory. To do so, you must use the SAVE command before logging off.

Modifying LES Configuration Settings
1. Before modifying the configuration settings of the LES, you must stop the LES with the SET
LAN_EMUL SERVER
n STOP command.
2. You should then verify the LES has been stopped (after the emulated LAN membership of each LEC
has been released) using the SHOW LAN_EMUL SERVERS command.
3. Restart the LES using the SET LAN_EMUL SERVER n START command with the new settings.
