Setting Up LAN Emulation Servers
You can define either one or two separate LAN Emulation Servers (LESs). Either one, or both, may be
Token Ring or Ethernet. If you start two LESs, the maximum number of LECs (128) applies to both LESs
combined.
When you start a LES, its associated BUS is automatically started.

Starting a LES
Token Ring — The following sample command includes parameters to start a Token Ring LES:

Notes:
1. The (optional) LAN name is case-sensitive.
2. Only the Maximum Frame Size and LAN Name parameters have default values. All other parameters
must be entered when starting a LES.
