Creating a PVC for Virtual Paths Connections

Before defining PVCs in the workgroup switch, see the guidelines in “Configuring Permanent Virtual
Circuits (PVCs)” on page 41.

The following examples show how to set up a PVC for virtual path connections (‘best effort’) from port 1.2
in the workgroup switch to port 4.4 in the remote switch (hub number 2 in the cluster).
