14.3.2 Procedura di misurazione C.O.
1. Collegare il cavo al connettore C.O. del monitor. Connettere il catetere e la sonda per la temperatura al cavo
C.O. come mostrato nella figura seguente.
14.3.3 Posizionamento del catetere
L’intubazione convenzionale per la misurazione C.O. comporta il posizionamento del catetere dalla vena sotto
la clavicola, attraverso la vena cava superiore, l’atrio destro, il ventricolo sinistro, e infine l’arteria polmonare.
Durante l’intubazione, la posizione del catetere può essere riesaminata mediante scansione a Raggi X o sem-
plicemente alla cieca. Il monitoraggio IBP viene normalmente utilizzato per stimare l’intubazione alla cieca; la
forma d’onda della pressione sanguigna è diversa nelle differenti posizioni. Le figure che seguono mostrano le
forme d’onda della pressione sanguigna per la posizione dall’atrio destro (RA), attraverso il ventricolo sinistro
(RV) all’arteria polmonare (PA) e infine ottenendo la pressione dell’arteria polmonare (RACP).
Le forma d’onda IBP nelle diverse posizioni
1. Il catetere viene posizionato nell’arteria polmonare. In base al monitoraggio IBP o alla scansione a Raggi X,
è possibile determinare la posizione di destinazione del catetere.
2. Nella schermata “Menu”, ruotate la manopola di navigazione e spostatela sull’icona “Gittata cardiaca”,
quindi premete la manopola per accedere alla schermata delle misurazioni C.O.
3. Impostate i parametri in base al tipo di catetere e alle condizioni di iniezione.
4. Premete il pulsante “Start”, quindi il risultato verrà visualizzato. Effettuate misurazioni multiple di C.O. per
ottenere un risultato medio.
5. Ottenete altri calcoli emodinamici.
