6.2 Alarm Levels
By severity, the monitor’s alarm can be classified into three categories: high level, medium level and low level.
In addition, the monitor has preset alarm levels about physiological alarm and technical alarm.
Related to 3 levels alarm sources, medical and nursing staff should have different response to deal with poten-
tial dangers, the detailed demands are as follows:
1. High priority alarm: medical and nursing staff should response immediately.
2. Medium priority alarm: medical and nursing staff should response quickly.
3. Low priority alarm: medical and nursing staff should response as soon as possible.
NOTE:
Some models may have only Medium and Low alarm priority because of the different configuration.
