18.5 Ventilation Calculation
From “Menu” window, the “Ventilation Calculation” window can be brought up.

The input items include FiO

(fraction of inspired oxygen), RR (respiratory rate), PeCO
2
(end-tidal CO
2
pres-
sure), PaCO
2
(carbon dioxide partial pressure), PaO
2
(oxygen arterial pressure), TV (tidal volume), RQ (respira-
tory quotient), ATMP (atmospheric pressure).
Refer to the following table for the detailed definition, unit and adjustable range of the input items.
Ventilation calculation function can perform calculation for 9 parameters (i.e. Output items): PAO
