7.14.3 show mac-address-table
This command shows the classes of entries in the bridge-forwarding database.
Syntax
show mac-address-table [address < mac-address > [ mask ]]
[interface < interface >] [vlan < vlan-id >]
[sort {address | vlan | interface}]

- MAC address.
•
mask
- Bits to match in the address.
•
interface
• ethernet <

- This is device 1.

- Physical port number on the ECN330
(Range: 1-28).

port-channel < channel-id >
- The assigned number of an
aggregated link (Range: 1-13)
•
vlan-id
- VLAN ID (Range: 1-4094)

- Sort by address, vlan or interface.

Command Usage
• The MAC Address Table contains the MAC addresses associated with
each interface. Note that the Type field may include the following types:

Learned
- Dynamic address entries
•
Permanent
- Static entry
