Command Usage
• This command identifies a DHCP client to bind to an address specified
in the
host
command. If both a client identifier and hardware address
are configured for a host address, the client identifier takes precedence
over the hardware address in the search procedure.
• BOOTP clients cannot transmit a client identifier. To bind an address to
a BOOTP client, a hardware address must be associated with the host
entry.

is valid for manual bindings only. Use the

form to remove the hardware
address.
