This command imports external routing information from other routing domains
(that is, protocols) into the autonomous system. Use the
no
form to disable this
feature.
Syntax
[no] redistribute [rip | static] [metric < metric-value >]

rip
- External routes will be imported from the Routing Information
Protocol into this Autonomous System.
•
static
- Static routes will be imported into this Autonomous
System.
•
metric-value
- Metric assigned to all external routes for the
specified protocol. (Range: 1-65535: Default: 10)

- Type 1 external route
•
2
- Type 2 external route (default) - Routers do not add internal
route metric to external route metric.
