7.2.4 Getting Help on Commands
A brief description of the help system can be displayed by entering the
help
command. Command syntax can also be displayed by using the
?
character to
list keywords or parameters.
7.2.4.1 Showing Commands
If a
?
is entered at the command prompt, the system displays the first level of
keywords for the current command class (Normal Exec or Privileged Exec) or
configuration class (Global, ACL, DHCP, Interface, Line, Router, VLAN
Database, or MSTP). A list of valid keywords for a specific command can also
be displayed. For example, the command
