When the temperature of the inverter radiation fin increases 92°C or more

Inadequate cooling of radiation fin
High outdoor air temperature (including short circuit)
Clogged air inlet and outlet
Dirty radiation fin
Defective outdoor unit PCB
Defective thermistor for radiation fin
Defective connection of cooling fan motor connector
Defective cooling fan
Broken fuse for cooling fan

It is supposed that the
radiation fin temperature
became high due to some
field factors. In this
connection, check the
following points:
• Stained radiation fin
• Airflow obstructed with dirt
or foreign matters
• Damage to fan impellers
• Too high outdoor air
temperature

Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting connectors, or parts may be damaged.
The radiation fin of the
inverter PCB concerned
exceeded a temperature
of 92˚C.
Turn OFF the power supply, and then
make measurement of resistance of
the radiation fin thermistor.
