The generator unit 1702.3771 consists of the three-phase gen-
erator of an alternating current with the built-in condenser of capacity
of 2.2 mF and integrated voltage regulator 2712.3702 intended for
work as a source of electrical energy in parallel with the storage battery
in the electric equipment system.

On the generator there are terminals:
« + » – to connect with batteries and load
« – » – to connect with voltage regulator;

GENERATOR STRUCTURE
The generator represents three-phase twelve-pole synchronous
electrical machine with built - in rectifying unit, radio-noise suppress-
ing condenser and brush holder with lingering ventilation.
The generator consists of the following parts: stator, rotor; cov-
ers from the side of contact rings with built - in rectifying unit and
condenser; brush unit installed on the cover from the side of contact
rings; cover from the side of drive; the fan and pulley.
The stator is assembled from separate plates connected in a
package and has 36 slots in which the three-phase winding is incorpo-
rated.
The rotor consists of the excitation coil twisted on a skeleton,
with the bushing installed inside the coil, to bushing end faces two pole
