MAINTENANCE SERVICE
The kinds and periodicity of maintenance service of a gearbox
are corresponding to kinds and periodicity of maintenance service of
the engine.
MAINTENANCE SERVICE AFTER RUNNING-IN
OF THE VEHICLE
After the vehicle running in period change the oil in gearbox
housing, clean of wearing-in products the oil suction strainer screen
and magnet.
FIRST MAINTENANCE SERVICE (M-1)
1 Check oil level in the gearbox housing add the fresh oil, if
necessary.
2 Check the work of LRBS units. Lowest range should not be
engaged at vehicle speed, corresponding to output shaft
speed more than 1000 min

SECOND MAINTENANCE SERVICE (M-2)
1 Carry out all operations of M-1.
2 Check up and if necessary adjust a rear support of gearbox
according to the Operation Manual of Vehicle (if the support
is stipulated by a design of the vehicle).
ADDITIONALLY EACH SECOND M-2
3 Change the oil in gearbox, wash the housing, screen and
magnet.
At absence of system of regulated maintenance service of vehi-
cle change of oil depending on conditions of operation on the follow-
ing scheme:
•
Automobiles with annual run 80 thousand km and more -
through 50 thousand km;
•
Automobiles with annual run less than 80 thousand km and
under heavy conditions of operation (claim roads, moun-
tainous district or hot, dry climatic area etc.) - through 30-40
thousand km.
