INSTALLATION OF
GENERATOR ON ENGINE
Before installation of the generator on the engine, cut off the
ground switch.
To install the generator, proceed as follow:
1 Insert pin 6 (fig. 77) in the hole of rear generator cover and
secure by nut 3 with washers 5 and 8.
2 Install the generator on the bracket 4, see that the pin enters
the hole in the bracket.
3 Insert bolt 2 into the hole of the generator front lug, screw it
into the bracket hole, without tightening the bolt. The shafts
of pulleys should be located in parallel, and belt grooves of
pulleys against each other.
4 Adjust the generator belts for tension, and then secure the
generator on the engine.
5 Secure the wires to the generator terminals.
