Cause 

Remedy 

Fault in fuel supply system 

Check engine fuel system  for sealing 
by  forcing  fuel  with  aid  of  manual 
fuel  priming  pump  or  check  sealing 
of  fuel  system  with  pressure  gauge 
connected.  Having  primed  fuel  to  a 
pressure at which fuel injection pump 
by-pass  valve  opens,  make  an  inter-
val of two minutes and see that pres-
sure  in  system  is  not  lower  than  0.1 
kgf/cm

2

.  In  case  of  a  lower  pressure, 

check  functioning  of  valves  on  fine 
fuel  filter  and  high-pressure  fuel  in-
jection pump
