4. Join the auxiliary transmission with installing gaskets se-
lected on item 3 to the gearbox housing. Tighten the auxiliary trans-
mission attachment bolts with torque 215.74…274.5 Nm (22…28
kgfm). Put a continuous strip in width of 2-3 mm on a contour on the
both sides of seal gasket 5 (fig. 105) the tightening compound UG-9
TU 6-01-1326-86 or UG-6 TU6-01-1285-84.
5. Remove the special adaptation, adjust axial plays in the
bearings of the counter, input and output shafts. For that:
5.1. Install in the gearbox housing boring the counter shaft
front bearing outside ring, then measure absolute values of dimensions
A (between end faces of housing and bearing outside ring, fig. 115). At
that the counter shaft rear bearing outside ring should be densely (un-
der action of the shaft own weight) pressed to the auxiliary transmis-
