Once a year it is recommended to wash the tensioner pulley
bearings in the mentioned below sequence:
1 Unscrew the tensioner pulley axle nut and the bolt - tensioner
nut.
2 Unscrew the bolt - tensioner from the pulley axle and remove
pulley with axle.
3 Unscrew three bolts and remove the pulley cover.
4 Remove from the pulley old grease (without disassembling of
pulley) and wash it with diesel fuel.
5 Put in fresh grease in bearings and in cover cavity and install
the cover back in a place.
6 Install the pulley and axle back in place, put the belt, adjust it
tension and tighten the axle attachment nut and safety nut.
7 Grease through grease fitting the bearings cavity until grease
starts oozing through the seals on the pulley rear end.
MAINTENANCE OF
FUEL EQUIPMENT
The correct and regular maintenance service of the fuel equip-
ment is a necessary condition of failure-free running of it.
To prevent the corrosion wearing of the precise details of the
fuel pump and injectors it is necessary in time drain the sludge from
fuel filters of course and thin fuel cleaning. Prevent the getting of water
in fuel tanks. The special attention is necessary to pay on cleanness of
details and, in first turn, internal cavities of high and low pressure pipe-
lines. Having disconnect the fuel pipelines blank off the unions of fuel
injection and fuel feed pumps, of injectors, filters and pipeline ends
with stopper blank plugs or clean insulation tape to protect them of
dirt. All parts before assembling carefully clean and wash in clean die-
sel fuel. The wetting of details with the drags material is not allowable
