Settings – Administration

Firmware Update/Restart

Update

Requirements:

PBX connected to broadband Internet access

Configured address of the update server

Configured DNS server and, if necessary, an HTTP proxy server (page

COMfortel 2500, COMfortel 1500, COMfortel 1100: Entered phone
number of the update server (+49 5306 9200510) into the phones (e.g.
via COMfortel Set)

When an instant firmware update is enabled via the update server, the
firmware update is initiated automatically. A connection to the update server
is set up and then the server sends the latest firmware to the PBX.

You can perform immediate firmware updates both for the PBX and for the
COMfortel system phones connected to it.
