Address Books
The phone numbers with their corresponding names entered in the address
books can be transmitted into one or more COMfortel DECT 900/900C
Handsets.
Note:
Up to 140 (COMfortel DECT 900) or 250 (COMfortel DECT 900C)
phonebook entries may be transferred to a handset.
As soon as the changes on the page
User data > Address books >
Contact group authorisations
have been saved, the PBX starts to
distribute the assigned entries to the corresponding handsets until all
memory cells have been filled. If a handset is currently not ready for the
data transfer (switched off, impossible to reach or in a call), the PBX will
try the next handset after a few minutes until all data has been
distributed.
The handset is not reachable during a data transfer (duration 2 minutes
max.) and there is "Copying from PBX" in the display.
At an IKON DECT 1020, UTF-8 charachters cannot be used in the name
field of the phone book entries.
•
Phone numbers that were manually entered into the handset will not
be overwritten by the Configuration Manager. That means these
phone numbers can only be changed or deleted manually.
•
The Configuration Manager only uses the memory locations that
have not been defined manually. Entries that were defined using the
Configuration Manager, will be overwritten by the Configuration
Manager.
•
If more phone numbers have been selected than available in the
memory locations of the handset, phone numbers are transmitted to
the handset until all the memory locations are filled. The phone
numbers with lower short-code dial numbers are transferred first.
