Connecting Devices to the 2TSM (R) Module
•
To finish commissioning, you need to configure the COMmander 2TMS
(R) module in the Configuration Manager and set up the corresponding
door terminal.
Connecting a Door Bell Button and a Door Bell
Requirements:
•
Installation cable (e. g. J-Y(St)Y 2x2x0.6) with the following character-
istics:
–
At least three wires (for two door bell buttons)
–
Unscreened; however: screened for unfavourable conditions, for
example, near a strong transmitter or an electrical power line
•
A door bell transformer
1. Lay the lines.
2. Connect the

terminal to the contact of the first door bell
button (e. g. labelled
1
) and with the first door bell.
Warning:
Power surges, which can occur during electrical
storms, can cause life-threatening electric shocks or damage
or destroy the PBX.
•
Do not open an already connected PBX during an electrical
storm. Also avoid disconnecting and connecting electrical
lines during an electrical storm.
