1.10.5 Serial Console Port Wiring
The industrial switch supports a secondary means of management. By connecting the
RJ45 to RS232 serial cable between a COM port on your PC (9-pin D-sub female) and the
switch’s RJ45 (RJ45) port, a wired connection for management can be established.

1.10.6 USB Console Port Wiring
In addition to the serial console option, the industrial switch supports a USB port for
management. A standard A-type-USB cable is used to connect the switch. Connect the
USB cable to the USB port on the PC and the switch.
