Align the terminal block over the terminal block receptor on the switch.
7.
Insert the terminal block and press it in until it is flush with the terminal block receptor.
8.
Tighten the screws on the terminal block to secure it to the terminal block receptor.
If there is no gap between the terminal block and the terminal receptor, the
terminal block is seated correctly.

1.9.6 Wiring the Digital Inputs
The EKI series has one set of digital input (DI). The DI consists of two contacts of the 6-
pin terminal block connector on the switch's bottom panel, which are used for the two DC
inputs. The top and front views of one of the terminal block connectors are shown as fol-
lows.
1.
Insert the negative (ground)/positive DI wires into the V1- and Ground terminals.
2.
Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to tighten the wire-clamp screws.
3.
Insert the plastic terminal block connector prongs into the terminal block receptor,
which is located on the bottom panel of the device.
