3.4.8 Port Channel
Configuration
The Port Channel Configuration page allows users to configure port channel settings.

Parameter
Description
Port Channel Inter-
Click the drop-down menu to select existing Port Channel or to create a new one.

Use this pull-down menu to select one of the existing Port Channels, or select 'Cre-
ate' to add a new one. There can be a maximum of 8 Port Channels.
Port Channel Name
Enter a value to specify the name you want assigned to the Port Channel. You may
enter any string of 1 to 15 alphanumeric characters. A valid name has to be speci-
fied in order to create the Port Channel.
Link Trap
Click the drop-down menu to enable or disable the link trap function. The factory
default is Disable, based on which the traps are to be sent.
Administrative Mode
Click the drop-down menu to enable or disable the function. When the Port Chan-
nel is disabled no traffic will flow and LACPDUs will be dropped, but the links that
form the Port Channel will not be released. The factory default is Enable.
Link Status
Displays the link status: up or down.
