3-1. General Information for Parts Replacement

3-1-1. Notes

1. Tape Cleaner

c

Never touch the edge of the tape cleaner with bare hands.

A sharp edge of the tape cleaner may cause a hand cut.
Pay careful attention when replacing or adjusting the peripheral parts.

2. Grease and Oil

.

Do not use ones other than the specified grease and oil. This may cause a trouble

or malfunction because of the difference in viscosity or components. Moreover, do
not use grease or oil in which dust is mixed. This may cause a trouble or malfunc-

tion.

Oil:

7-661-018-18

.

Apply just enough grease to form a thin film on the surface of the part.

Any grease left on the surrounding portions must be wiped with gauze or soft
cloth.

A drop of oil is defined as follows:

About the amount that will remain on the tip of a stick of 2 mm in diameter, as
shown in the figure.

.

Do not use the grease and oil except for specified portions.

3. Stop Washer

Do not reuse the removed stop washer.
