3-14. Reel Motor Plate Assembly Replacement

Disconnect the Flat Cable of the SE-606 Board

Note

1.

In this unit, it is not necessary to perform the traditional reel motor shaft slant-
ness adjustment after the reel motor plate assembly replacement.

2.

When replacing the reel motor, be sure to perform the replacement as the reel
motor plate assembly. Never replace the single reel motor.

3.

The parts making up the reel motor plate assembly is different between S side
and T side. However, how to replace the reel motor assembly is the same for

both sides.

Preparation

1.

Turn the power off and remove the power cord.

2.

Remove the top panel. (Refer to Section 1-1.)

3.

Remove the plate MD. (Refer to Section 1-2.)

4.

Remove the cassette compartment. (Refer to Section 1-2.)

Removal

1. Removing the SE-606 Board

(1) Press the three claws in the arrow directions

to remove the SE-606 board.

(2) Disconnect the flexible card wire from the

connector CN1 on the SE-606 broad.
