Removing the CL Guide Rail

Remove the S Plate Assembly

5. Removing the CL Guide Rail

Remove the two screws to remove the CL guide

rail.

6. Removing the Pinch Press Assembly

Remove the pinch press assembly.

(Refer to steps 1 and 2 in Section 3-10.)

7. Removing the S Plate Assembly

(1) Disconnect the harness (full erase head) from

the connector CN3 of the CT-205 board.

(2) Disconnect the harnesses from the connectors

of the full erase head board and tape end
sensor board.

(3) Disconnect the harness (tape end sensor)

from the sensor holder.

(4) Remove the screw to remove the S plate

assembly.

As the edge of tape cleaner is sharp, use great

care to avoid a hand cut.

8. Removing the S Tension Regulator

Assembly

Remove the S tension regulator.
(Refer to step 1 in Section 3-21.)

9. Removing the T Drawer Assembly

Remove the T Drawer Assembly.
(Refer to steps 1 and 2 in Section 3-23-1.)

10. Removing the Gear Box Assembly

Remove the gearbox assembly.
(Refer to steps 1 to 3 in Section 3-19.)
