4. Process When Error Occurs
Describes the process when errors occur during operations.
When the following contents are output to the log file.
TEST UNIT READY >> ERROR!! <SENSE-KEY [ 2] - ASC [ 4] - ASCQ [ 1]>
TAPE LOADING
Wait until “Loaded” and execute START again.
When the ASPI error occurs
ASPI ERROR!! is output and the process is completed.
This occurs when the “Length” and “Block Size” values for parameter settings are not satisfied.
When the check condition occurs
The code and contents are output and the process is completed.
For details on the codes, refer to the protocol manual.
Example 1:
In this example, “EOM” occurs because the writable area on the tape is limited.
In this case, the process thereafter will be continued as an exceptional case.
WRITE >> ERROR!! <SENSE-KEY [ 0] - ASC [ 0] - ASCQ [ 0]>
EOM bit ON
Example 2:
In this case, the details are output and the process is stopped.
WRITE >> ERROR!! <SENSE-KEY [ 5] - ASC [20] - ASCQ [00]>
