6. Setting in the S Cassette Position

Rotate the gear of reel shift motor counterclock-

wise as far as it will go.

7. Checking the Supply and Take-up

Reel Table Height

Perform in the same way as in steps 4 and 5.

If the specification is not satisfied, perform steps
8 and later.

If the specifications are satisfied in both L and S
cassette positions, perform steps 10 and later.

8. Removing the Reel Table

9. Adjusting the Number of Poly-slider

Washers

Adjust the number of poly-slider washers in-
stalled in the reel motor shaft so that the specifi-

cations are satisfied in both L and S cassette
positions.

10. Removing the Cassette Reference

Plate (L)

Remove the cassette reference plate (L) and reel

table height gauge.

11. Tighten the Screws of the Reel Table

Assembly

Press down the caws of reel table assembly and
tighten the two set screws.

12. Rechecking the Reel Table Height

Refer to steps 3 through 7.

13. Installing the SE-606 Board

Install the SE-606 board.

(Refer to Section 3-14.)
