Turn the power on, and set the unit to the line mode. (Refer to Section 1-11.)

Do not load a cassette at this time.

6.

Run the terminal emulator software.

7.

Enter “diag

” from the start-up screen to enter the DIAGNOSTIC mode.

8.

Next, enter “15

” to display the DSP DIAGNOSTIC menu.

9.

Next, enter “26

"

” and turn the power of the CCM-33 board on.

10. Adjust CT1 of the CCM-33 board using the adjustment screwdriver to satisfy the following specifica-

tion.

Adjustment point: CT1/CCM-33 board

Specification:

Amplitude A = Sine waveform, maximum (more than 11 V p-p)

As the amplitude of the waveform is easily affected by the probe, twist two probe cables together to
measure.

11. After the adjustment, set the power of the unit off, and remove the probe.

Checking Method

12. Turn the power of the unit on.

13. Load and unload a formatted tape, and check that no errors occur.
14. After checking, attach the front panel.
