5-15. RF Adjustments

5-15-4. RF Error Rate (DTF-2 PB Align)

Function:

Check the playback error rate using the RF alignment tape (DTF-2).

Operation:

(1) Be sure that THRU mode is started from the maintenance terminal and connected to SYS CPU, and

“RSMODE

” is input. (LCD will display IDR: xxxxxx) (Refer to Section 5-15).

(2) Load an alignment tape (YR5-1A) into the unit.

Proper adjustment cannot be perform with the other tape.

For the tape address used for the adjustment, the unit will select the appropriate position.

(3) Confirm that “Bank Address decided!!” is displayed in the maintenance terminal.

(4) Enter “RF08

”, the following messages will be displayed and the adjustment will start automatical-

(5) If the check results are satisfactory, “OK” will be displayed on the screen.

If the check results are not satisfactory, “NG” will be displayed on the screen.
