1-15. Update of the Firmware

1-15-4. Update using PSC

When the drive is mounted on the library such as PetaSite and it is connected with the PSC in the net-
work, the firmware updating of the drive can be performed from the menu of PSC.

This section describes procedures of the firmware updating. Be sure to perform the updating after reading
the notes which written below.

The PSC online help is also provided, please refer to the online help.

Updating

1.

Download the file for updating from the ftp site in advance, and copy it to the following directory.

(As for the Revision 1.35 and later, also copy conf file together.)
¥PSC¥download¥drive

2.

Select [Test] on the menu of PSC

→

[Firmware Download], then “Firmware Download” window is

displayed.

3.

Select the radio button of “Drive” in the Download Device, then enters the updating mode of drive.
