Adjustment

3. Turning the Power Off

4. Removing the Reel Motor Plate

Assembly

Remove the reel motor plate assembly.
(Refer to Section 3-14.)

5. Adjusting the Brake Solenoid Position

(1) Loosen the two fixing screws securing the

brake solenoid.

(2) Push the iron core of the solenoid into the

energized position.

Adjust the brake solenoid position according
to the following procedure so that the clear-

ance between the brake lining and reel table
meets the specification.

In this adjustment, push only the iron core.

Never push other parts.

Shift the brake solenoid in the B direction.

 Clearance A is wider.

Shift the brake solenoid in the C direction.

8

 Clearance A is narrower.

(3) Tighten the two screws loosened in step (1).

6. Confirming the Brake Release Amount

Confirm the brake release amount meets the
specification.

(Refer to step 5 of this section.)

7. Installing the Reel Motor Plate

Assembly

Install the reel motor plate assembly.
(Refer to Section 3-14.)
