MM4006 I n t r o d u c t i o n
MOTOR ON Menu
When motor power is turned on, the four function keys are defined as fol-
lows:
HOME M A N U A L M O V E P R O G .
This is the "top level MOTOR 11211" menu. These four choices can be
grouped into three important categories: home search, motion commands
and program management.
DISPL. S w i t c h e s the display and front panel controls for the next o r previous 4-
axis.
HOME A c t i v a t e s the home search setup menu in which one or more axes can be
selected to perform a sequential home search cycle.
MANUAL I s a motion function which allows the user to manually jog each axis using
the numeric keypad.
MOVE I s a motion function which activates a lower-level menu that offers position
"zeroing", manual jog and go-to-position functions.
PROG. A c t i v a t e s the motion program management and generation environment.
This mode can he activated from both MOTOR a n d MOTOR M B top
level menus. When selected, the next screen shows the following function
choices:

EXEC. C o m p a r e d to the MOTOR C B initiated menu, the MOTOR ON m e n u adds
the EXEC. f u n c t i o n which executes stored motion programs.
