Plate Acquisition Setup Dialog: Configure Tab, Display Tab

Note: Use the Active Wavelength Preview tool to generate a preview of an acquired
image for each wavelength.

Use the Display tab to configure the settings for the MetaXpress software desktop
appearance such as image size and positions, the Plate Acquisition Setup dialog size and
position, and other image properties during acquisition. You can choose to display images
only during autofocus, only during acquisition, or both. You can also choose to display a color
overlay of wavelength images during acquisition.

Note: Display settings save with the acquisition protocol.

1. Select the Display tab.

2. Click Auto Arrange Images to use the default settings for image display and for the dialogs

that appear during acquisition. The software auto scales images and arranges them in the
default layout with an unobstructed status dialog.

3. Click Display Acquisition Layout to display the current settings for image display and the

Plate Acquisition Status dialog that indicates where dialogs will appear during acquisition.

4. Select the Display Images During Autofocus check box to display the images that the

software acquires during image autofocus.

5. Select the Display Images During Acquisition check box to display each image as it is

acquired.

6. Select the Display a Color Overlay of Wavelength Images During Acquisition check box to

display a color composite of the images the software captures for each wavelength the
software acquires at each site.
