5.6.12 Module Failure
Fault Symptom Possible Cause Troubleshooting
It cannot be loaded.
No beep sound is
made. The
information column
does not display the
prompt that XX
module is
successfully loaded.
Module Failure
1. Verify the connection between the
external adapter board inside the module
and the adapter board.
2. The adapter board is damaged. Replace
the adapter board.
Main unit failure 1. The main board is faulty. Replace it.
It can be loaded.
"XX Comm Error" is
displayed and
parameters cannot
be used.
Connection fault
inside the module
Verify the connection from the adapter
board to corresponding parameter
module

Replace the parameter module
Internal adapter
board failure
Replace the adapter board
XX stands for the module used by the monitor, such as NIBP, SpO
2
or Temp.

1. Check that the PC has been correctly
connected to the network connector of
the monitor through the network
cable.
2. Ensure the normal operation of the
network hub or switch, and verify the
hub cable or crossover cable is
properly connected.
Wrong upgrade package
has been downloaded
Select package according to system
requirement. Upgrade package should
be .pkg files.
The IP address of the PC
is incorrect.
Set a fixed IP address for the monitor to
be upgraded. You are not advised to
upgrade a program t to when the
monitor is connected to a network with
multiple PCs.
