Maintenance and Test
4.1 Introduction
To ensure the monitor always functions properly, qualified service personnel should
perform regular inspection, maintenance and test. This chapter describes the procedures
for testing the monitor with recommended test tools and frequency. The service
personnel should perform testing and maintenance as required and use appropriate test
tools.
The procedures are intended to verify that the monitor meets the performance
specifications. If the monitor or a module fails to perform as specified in any test, repairs
or replacement must be done to correct the problem. If there is any problem, contact
Mindray Customer Service Department.
CAUTION

All tests must be performed only by qualified professional maintenance
personnel.

Care should be taken when changing the settings in User Maintenance and
Factory Maintenance menus to avoid loss of data.

Prior to testing, maintenance personnel should ensure the applicability of
test tools and cables and are skilled in using these test tools.

Check and replace the button cell periodically.

After the service personnel complete the tests, record the test results in accordance with
the
Maintenance Test Report on the last page of this chapter, and deliver the report to
our Customer Service Department.
