8.2

Software Upgrade

This monitor supports network upgrade through a PC or local upgrade through a USB

drive to complete the update function for the monitor and peripheral related firmware.

You can upgrade the software by using the System Upgrade Tool (P/N: 110-008081-00 PC
upgrade tool) through the network. This tool can directly run on a PC. We recommend

you to connect a PC to the monitor through a switch or router for network upgrade.

If the monitor is connected to the Mindray central monitoring system (CMS), the network
upgrade can be completed on the CMS.

The monitor can also be upgraded through a specially authorized USB drive (which

contains the USB drive upgrade BIOS program PN:110-008082-00).

Installing the Tool Software

1. Click the executive program SystemUpdateTool.exe. A screen pops up. Click

to enter the screen for entering the SN.
