8.2.2.1
Connecting Monitor and CMS
NOTE

Before allocating configuration for the monitor, exporting logs or
upgrading software through the CMS, build a connection between the
monitor and CMS.
 Method 1: Choose Main Menu -> Maintenance -> Network Setup , select Transfer
Setup , turn on Select CMS , and then select Add Central Station . Enter a Server
Address , for example, 196.76.0.129, and click Network Test . When three green
ticks appear, the connection is successful.

Method 2: Choose Main Menu -> Maintenance -> Network Setup , select Device
Discover
, enter the IP address of the main server, for example, 196.76.0.129, and
then check whether the main server is connected.

Upgrading CMS Station
1. Start the CMS station program, and enter a password to access the server setting
screen.
2. In
Device Management
, find
Version Upgrade Management
, as shown in the
following figure, and click Add Version .
3. The Select Version File screen is displayed. Select the Install File and Version File .
The Install File indicates the tool for installing the software. The VS Install File is
LEGO_Installer.pkg and the Version File is the software installation package. After the
selection, click
OK .
