Remote Control NXT Battery Replacement

To replace the Remote Control NXT battery:

Use a Philips screwdriver to unscrew the two screws on the battery door at the

back of the Remote NXT.

Remove the used battery and replace it with the new battery. Ensure that there is

correct battery contact orientation.

Note:

Always use 3xAAA batteries.

Place the screws in the two screw holes on the battery door and tighten the

screws to secure the battery door using a Philips screwdriver.

6.4 NXT Docking Station

The NXT Docking Station (Figure 73) includes: the Infusion Pump NXT and pump controls,

the docking stations for the Roam NXT, and the SmartSense tag reader.

Infusion Pump NXT

The Infusion Pump NXT is part of the docking station located on the NXT Cart. The Infusion

Pump NXT is used to fill the patient’s bladder with fluid during Urodynamic Study. The

maximum pump rate of the Infusion Pump NXT for 7 French catheters is 70ml per minute.
The LED light in the docking station indicates the status of the Pump. This interphase

provides access to pump stop control and the SmartSense tag reader (Figure 74).
