Caring for Cart and its Components
Inspect the NXT Pro cart for any signs of damage or instability, including the NXT Docking
Station and the Urocap NXT Charging Hub which are mounted on the cart. Verify that all
castor wheels both lock and unlock to facilitate safe stationary or transport conditions.
Contact LABORIE Service for repair or replacement.
5.2.2.1 Safely Moving the Cart
Place the cart into the LABORIE recommended transport position prior to moving it by
following the instructions below.
Secure loose parts and accessories. Slide the mouse tray into the cart. Close and
secure all drawers and doors (as applicable). The workspace drawer stop will click
once it reaches the locked position.
Remove any weight from the NXT Infusion Hook and remove the Infusion Pump
Tubing from the Pump NXT.
Disconnect the cart power cord from the mains power source as well as any
accessories.
Organize and contain any cables and tubing to prevent trip hazards.
Adjust the worksurface to its lowest position by pulling the height adjustment
lever upwards and applying gentle downward force on the worksurface until it
reaches minimum position (Figure 62). Release the lever to lock position.

Rotate the hoop as close to the cart as possible (Figure 63).
Swivel the monitors for maximum clearance when passing through doorways.
Unlock the castor wheels.
