5.3.2.2 Verifying Pressure Measurement Capability

To begin verifying calibration for the PIM NXT transducers, gather one Cylinder at least 25

cm tall and one T-DOC Air Charged Catheter. To complete calibration verification:

Fill a cylinder with 20cm of water.

Place a T-DOC Air Charged Catheter inside the cylinder so that the tip of the catheter

is touching the bottom of the cylinder.

Insert the catheter connectors into the relevant PIM NXT transducer channels.

Click the

Settings

icon in the title bar, then click the

System Settings > Device

Manager

option. The

Device Manager

window will pop-up.

Click the

Roam NXT

option, then click the

Run Diagnostics

button. The device

diagnostics window will pop-up (Figure 67).

The Pressure P1 should be approximately 18cm of water +/-3%.
