Replacing the PIM NXT

The PIM NXT must be connected to the Roam NXT to facilitate functionality of both devices.

Follow the instructions provided below for replacing the PIM NXT.

IMPORTANT:

The PIM NXT is not intended to be interchangeable during regular use.

When the PIM NXT is directly connected to the Roam NXT it should only be detached for

cleaning or maintenance.

6.6.1.1 Removing the PIM NXT

To remove an existing PIM NXT, follow the instructions provided below.

Using a flat head screwdriver, loosen the screw (not fully) located at the back

of PIM NXT.

Gently pull the PIM NXT away from Roam NXT base until it disconnects from

the base (Figure 78).

6.6.1.2 Attaching New PIM NXT

To attach a new PIM NXT, follow the instructions provided below.

NOTE:

The PIM NXT unit includes a screw and belt clip located at the back (Figure 79).

Using a flat head screwdriver, loosen the screw (not fully) located at the back

of PIM NXT to ensure that it fits through the slot in Roam NXT base.

Insert the PIM NXT fully into Roam NXT base, and re-tighten the screw.
