[SOURce:]LIST:COUNt:SKIP? QUERY
LIST:COUN:SKIP?
Syntax:
Short Form: LIST:COUN:SKIP?
Long Form: LIST:COUNt:SKIP?
Return Value: <int_value>
Description:
Identifies how many steps will skipped the first time the list is executed.
Returns value set by
LIST:COUN:SKIP command. (See example, Figure B-6.)
FIGURE B-7. CREATING AND EXECUTING A COMPLEX WAVEFORM USING LIST COMMANDS
NOTE: The example below assumes that unit is in voltage mode (FUNC:MODE VOLT) and
output is on (OUTP ON). Figure 3-14 shows the sample waveform produced by the
following commands.
LIST:CLE
Clears the LIST and sets LIST:SEG to repeat.
LIST:SEGM INIT
Sets the next segment as initial
LIST:VOLT:APPL LEV,0,.001.5
sets the first (non-repeating) segment to a level of 1.5V for a duration of 0.001
seconds.
LIST:VOLT:APPL LEV,0.002,0
Sets segment 2 (non-repeating) to 0V for a duration of 0.002 seconds.
LIST:VOLT:APPL:SWE 0,90
Sets segment 3 (non-repeating) to start at 0° and end at 90°.
LIST:VOLT:APPL SINE, 25,20
Sets segment 3 as a 25 Hz sinewave, 20V p-p. Due to previous command
voltage goes from 0V at 0° to 10V at 90°.
LIST:VOLT:APPL:SWE 0,360
Sets segment 4 (non-repeating) to start a 0° and end at 360°.
LIST:VOLT:APPL RAMP-,50,4,8
Sets segment 3 as a decreasing 50Hz ramp, 20V p-p, at 8V offset. Due to pre-
vious command voltage goes from 10V at 0° to 6V at 360°.
LIST:SEGM REP
Sets the next segment as repeating
LIST:VOLT:APPL:SWE 0,90
Sets segment 4 (repeating) to start a 0 degrees and end at 90 degrees.
LIST:VOLT:APPL SINE, 50,8,6
Sets segment 4 as a 50 Hz sinewave, 8V p-p. at 6V offset. Voltage starts at 6V
at 0°, then rises as sine to 10V at 90° due to previous command.
LIST:VOLT:APPL:SWE 0
Sets segment 5 start point at 0° and end point (implied) at 360°.
LIST:VOLT:APPL RAMP-,50,4,8
Sets segment 5 as a decreasing 50Hz ramp, 20V p-p, at 8V offset
CURR:PROT: 10
Sets Current protection to 10 Amps.
LIST:COUN 0
Set Count to 0, causing the repeating segments to repeat forever.
LIST:SAVE CAPCHARGE,1
Saves segments as CAPCHARGE in location 1.
Once waveform has been constructed and saved, it can be executed.
VOLT:MODE:LIST
Executes the saved waveform
VOLT:MODE:HALT
Stops the waveform, leaving the output at 6V
After unit is powered off, the waveform can be recalled when unit is powered on.
LIST:DIR? 1
Returns 1 VOLT CAPCHARGE indicating that a waveform to be run in voltage
mode entitled CAPCHARGE is stored in location 1.
LIST:CLE
Good practice to always clear the list prior to recalling a waveform.
LIST:REC 1
Loads the waveform stored in location 1 into memory.
MEM:LIST? 4
Returns SINE,REP,50,8.00001,6.0000,0.0,90. This is the 4th segment of the
waveform stored in memory and can be verified against the previously saved
CAPCHARGE waveform. Note that due to rounding errors the values returned
may not exactly match the values programmed (e.g. 8.00001).
CURR:PROT 10
Sets current protection to 10A. The command must be issued when using
remote commands to execute a waveform because it is only recalled automat-
ically when executing a waveform from the front panel.
FUNC:MODE VOLT
Unit must be set to voltage mode to run a voltage waveform.
OUTP ON
Waveform can only be executed when output is on.
VOLT:MODE LIST
Executes the waveform.
